c. 1944. Miss Ha-Teck-Yin uses a machine to check the thread of the screw gauge for a small fuse plug at the Munitions Supply Laboratories. Miss Ha-Teck-Yin, formerly of Singapore, interrupted her medical studies to undertake scientific control at the Laboratories.
