Tokyo, Japan, c. 1948-02. Four Australian soldiers serving with BCOF carry out a relief of the guard beside a sentry box standing in the Imperial Plaza near the Japanese Imperial Palace (not in view). The two soldiers wearing berets are members of the Armoured Corps, while the two wearing slouch hats are members of the 67th Infantry Battalion. The soldiers third and fourth from left are respectively the relief Guard Commander VX96587 Corporal L.J. Moon and Trooper Percy White of 1 Armoured Car Squadron. (Donor I. Robertson)
