Japan, 1948-06-12. 3/86 Lieutenant Colonel Fergus MacAdie (left), Commanding Officer of the 67th Infantry Battalion serving with BCOF, uses a ceremonial sword to cut the wedding cake at his wedding reception party at Mudge Hall, a former palace of a Japanese prince that had been taken over as a club for American cavalry officers. Standing next to him is the bride, while looking on at right are one of the groomsmen, 5/8000 Major Thomas Angelo Rodriguez, the Officer Commanding (OC) 'A' Field Battery, Royal Australian Artillery (RAA), and a bridesmaid.
