Hiro, Honshu, Japan, 1948-12. Draft copy of an invitation card from Major I.B. Ferguson MC and his wife, for a cocktail party to be held at their residence, 'House Z-10 Nijimura', on 1948-12-15. Major Ferguson was 2nd-in-Command of the 67th Infantry Battalion, part of the Australian component of BCOF. The card is probably the work of draftsmen employed in the battalion's Intelligence Section. (Donor I. Robertson)
