The Prime Minister of Great Britain (Mr. Winston Churchill) inspected the 1st American Squadron of the Home Guard on the Horseguards Parade. The squadron is under the command of Brigadier General Wade H Hayes. General Sir B Sergison-Brooke (General Officer Commanding (GOC), London Area) accompanied the Prime Minister on his tour of inspection. Mrs. Churchill was present. Mr. Winston Churchill acknowledging the salute of the squadron as it moved away.
