Haramura, Honshu, Japan, 1949. Using dummy flags made of hessian, a colour party from the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), serving with BCOF, rehearse the trooping of the colours at Haramura, the battalion's main field training centre. The soldiers are (left to right): unknown; 5/7005 Lieutenant (Lt) John Murray Church; unknown; 2/35007 Lt Noel Russell Charlesworth; 2/376 Captain Leon Roderic Greville. 3RAR was formerly the 67th Infantry Battalion.
