Hiro, Japan, 1950-08. Wearing a Russian helmet, Private (Pte) Jim Blackmore of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), handles a Russian 7.62 mm PPSh M1941 submachine gun ('burp gun') during a course in enemy weapons identification.
