Hiro, Honshu, Japan, c. 1950-09. A member of the Intelligence Section, the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), leans over a drafting table as checks a measurement for a map he is drawing. Resting on the table at left is a box containing drawing instruments such as protractors.
