Description
Korea, c. 1950-10. Members of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), break open their field rations for a meal in the Korean countryside. The soldiers are, left to right: 2/2704 Corporal J.E. Stark; 3/46514 Private (Pte) W.H. Alberts (wearing beret); 5/1123 Pte Tom Saunders (standing at rear); 3/5891 Sergeant Jim Thorogood (KIA 1951-02-15); 4/643 Pte Lance Gully (with back to camera); unknown (wearing beret).
