Korea, c. 1951. At a makeshift altar in the open air, Padre Joe Phillips, a Roman Catholic chaplain, says mass for members of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), who are kneeling on the ground with their heads bowed in prayer.
