Australian Medical Support Force medical clerk, Leading Aircraftwoman Vanessa Burley (usually stationed at 321 Air Base Wing Darwin), smiles happily from her desk at the Kigali Central Hospital where she is checking hospital files. The Australian Medical Support Force runs the United Nations (UN) wing of the Kigali Central Hospital. More than 300 Australian service personnel are in Rwanda to provide medical support for UN troops and where possible, medical care to the local population.
