Rwanda. 10 January 1995. Financial Adviser Major Dennis Cameron (left) and Finance Administrator Warrant Officer 2 Stewart Johns (both normally based in Canberra), are responsible for keeping the finances of the Australian Medical Support Force in Rwanda. They are pictured here with wads of money. The international currencies with which they deal include United States dollars, Rwandan francs, Kenyan shillings, Ugandan shillings and sometimes South African rand and Zimbabwe dollars. The Australian Medical Support Force is part of UNAMIR (United Nations Assistance Mission in Rwanda), a peacekeeping mission to the war-torn central African nation.
