Taegu area, Korea, c. 1950-09-30. Informal outdoors portrait of Sergeant 'Obie' O'Brien, a member of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), squatting on the ground with his Owen submachine gun at the battalion's assembly area west of Taegu. Lying on the ground in front of him are a mug, water bottles, pouches and a tin of tobacco with a packet of Tally-Ho cigarette papers on top. (Donor I. Robertson)
