Description
Seoul, South Korea, 1950-10-09. A convoy of military vehicles consisting of trucks, jeeps and (foreground, right) a Bren gun carrier, all belonging to the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), pauses in one of the city's main roads. Several Australian soldiers are sitting or standing aboard the vehicles. In the background stands one of the city's major public buildings, the city hall which is being used as the local headquarters for United Nations (UN) forces in Korea.
