Description
Korea, 1950-10. A US Army soldier (right) and two members of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), carry out security checks on loads being carried by Korean refugees. The refugees are returning home to their farmlands which have been liberated from North Korean forces by the allies in their breakout from the Pusan perimeter. At left, two Korean boys stand beside a wagon laden with household goods while, at rear, two US Army soldiers sit behind a machine gun in the turret of an Sherman M4A3 medium tank. (Donor I.
