Description
Korea, c. 1951-01. Two wooden water wheels (left) stand in the bed of a channel or stream on which snow is lying. Each wheel is fed by a wooden sluice-way, while another sluice-way slopes down to empty into the channel in front of the wheels. A large group of US Army soldiers is gathered on the road at right.
