Chipyong-ni area, Korea, 1951-03. A US military band entertains a large crowd of diggers from the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), in the IX Corps rest area where the battalion is taking a well-earned break from operations. In the centre of the group of spectators are three Korean boys dressed in military uniforms. They may be battalion mascots. (Donor I. Robertson)
