Korea, c. 1951-02. Held up for display is a pair of American-made Type 1 woollen mittens with a trigger-finger insert. Such mittens were worn by members of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), to help keep their fingers and hands warm and supple in the cold Korean winter. (Donor I. Robertson)
