Soldiers of 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (6RAR), follow an armoured personnel carrier (APC) of 1APC Squadron on patrol through open country during Operation Ingham, a search and destroy operation. The soldiers are armed with a mixture of 5.56 mm M16A1 automatic rifles and 7.62 mm L1A1 self loading rifles.
