Sweetheart brooch made at Tarakan

Silver metal badge in the shape of a heart which hangs below a bar on two short chains. Engraved on the bar is the word 'Beryl'. The centre of the lower metal piece features a convex red heart. Around this centre piece on the silver metal is engraved 'Tarakan' with a palm tree on each side. The badge is in a small red cloth bag. The brooch pin is missing from the reverse of the bar.

Found in a charity shop and donated to the Memroial.
