Description
Anecdotal account of the war service of Warrant Officer Arthur John Cox DCM covering his experiences in South Africa with British Territorial and later South African irregular units, service in the AIF including Gallipoli and the campaign in Palestine. WO1 Cox received his DCM for bravery during the charge at Beersheba. The account includes his attempt to join the 2nd AIF following further duties wiht the 36th Battalion CMF.
