Handwritten and typescript drafts of `With horse and morse in Mesopotamia', some of it written on the back of copies of his father's business correspondence; handwritten contributions by others for the book; annotated galley proofs; correspondence with printers and publication publicity; research material for the book including signals, orders, newspaper cuttings, maps, tables of events, transcripts of war diaries; personal papers of Burke including cards sent to his parents from Mesopotamia, draft articles on the history of the area, publicity material for his public lantern slide lectures in 1922.
