Description
Seoul, South Korea, 1950-10-09. A convoy of military jeeps and trucks makes its way along a road through the war-damaged city as it heads north towards Kaesong. Lying on both sides of the road are wreckage and ruined buildings. At left, members of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), are travelling aboard jeeps which are pulling trailers, while the trucks in the background (right) are carrying American troops. The spire or steeple of a Christian church rises at rear.
