90691 Aldyth McCready (later Nilsen) (left), Driver of Motor Transport, Women's Auxiliary Australian Air Force (WAAAF), and Jo Robinson (later Saunders), WAAAF, standing on the front path leading to their house at the new station of No. 1 Operational Training Unit (1OTU). Robinson is holding a bunch of flowers from the garden. The garden was named the `botanical gardens' by the RAAF airmen. (Donor A. Nilsen)
