Describes training for aerial photography, bomb damage assessment, flights in B-26 Marauders and B-24 Liberators. Mentions experiences as an American serviceman in Brisbane, Townsville, Reid River, describes duties in New Guinea (particularly Port Moresby, Dobodura, and Owi Island), the Philippines, reunion with girlfriend stationed at Camp Cable as a nurse, return to U.S. and discharge from army, post-war conditions in America.
