Description
Korea, c. 1950-10. A traditional Korean farm dwelling with a thatch roof and roughly-coursed field stone walls, the upper parts of which are covered with daub or plaster. A young girl is passing the front door of the house over which a crude awning has been erected. A hoe, water pump and rolled-up mat stand next to the door. At right, a sturdy wooden wagon stands beside a haystack.
