Description
Korea, c. 1950-10. Two members of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), sit in their sandbagged defensive position among low trees and bushes on the side of a hill. Resting on an ammunition box at left is a Bren gun, while a .303 rifle, a trenching tool, a small sack and a bayonet lie on the sandbags at right. The soldier at left is smoking a cigarette.
