Korea, c. 1951-02. 2/2680 Corporal (Cpl) Tim Daly (left) and another member of the Machine Gun Platoon, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), standing in their dugout on a steep snow-covered slope. Behind Cpl Daly, who is smoking a cigarette, a .303 Vickers medium machine gun points out over the slope and valley below. The other soldier is holding a .303 rifle.
