Hill 355 area, Korea, 1952-04. Roy Noonan, who took over from Charlie Anderson as company runner in 'A' Company, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), stands at the entrance to a dugout which is protected by sandbags. The roof of the dugout is constructed of rough timbers covered with hessian and tree branches. A long bayonet for the .303 rifle rests on the ground at left.
