Description
Imjin River area, Korea, 1952-05. Interior of the tent or hoochie occupied by 3/395 Major Jeffrey James (Jim) Shelton, commander of 'A' Company, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), in a reserve area near the Imjin River. A field telephone, some tins and a pair of white shoes rest against the side of the tent at left, while standing at rear is a small set of wooden shelves on which books, manuals, jars and other items of personal equipment are stored. Major Shelton's stretcher bed stands at right.
