556272 Corporal Justin White, 135 Signals Squadron, Royal Australian Signal Corps, (RASIGS), holding an Israeli manufactured Uzi sub-machine gun. He is wearing a United Nations (UN) cap and shoulder patch on his camouflage uniform and is standing outside a tent in the courtyard of the UN compound. The weapon had been presented to the Australians by a European civilian prior to leaving Rwanda and was subsequently used for training purposes. Cpl White was a member of the United Nations Assistance Mission In Rwanda (UNAMIR).
