A Telstra mobile satellite transmitting and receiving dish in the courtyard of the United Nations (UN) compound. The dish provided a vital telecommunications link with Australia and was operated by Royal Australian Signals Corps (RASIGS) personnel. Royal Australian Army Medical Corps (RAAMC) field ambulance Landrovers are parked behind the dish. Australia supplied a Medical Support Force (AMSF) to the United Nations Assistance Mission In Rwanda (UNAMIR).
