Description

This aerial bomb mechanical impact tail fuze consists of a 4 vane arming propeller assembly fitted to an auxiliary fuze and charge container. The arming assembly is 340 mm long and is made of a single cadmium plated steel shaft (16 mm diameter) to support the propeller assembly and winding rod. The M102 tail fuze was used with 1000 pound A.P (armour piercing) and S.A.P (semi armour piercing) bombs and 4000 pound GP (general purpose) H E (high explosive) bombs.
