New York, USA. An American hospitality centre for Australian and New Zealand forces was the Anzac Club, New York. Founder and President of the Club was Miss Nola Luxford. Shown, a typical Anzac Day broadcast. Miss Luxford and Mrs Otto Hafner, an American who had more than one thousand Anzacs stay at her home in New York, are at the table and Lieutenant Jack Slee, of the Canadian Navy, a helper at the Anzac Club, is at the microphone. Other Australians and New Zealanders are waiting their turn to broadcast a message home.
