Mount Gambier, SA. 1943-06-16. Members of the Women's Auxiliary Australian Air Force (WAAAF) enjoying a meal in the mess at RAAF No. 2 Air Observers School. The airwomen carried their cutlery to the mess in the top pocket of their trousers and queued for their meals.
