Graves and crosses at the Hell Spit Cemetery including those of 1000 Corporal Cyril Andrew Burdeu (also incorrectly transcribed in some records as Burden) and 1319 Driver Arthur Gordon Balderson, both of 2nd Field Artillery Brigade (2 FAB), who were killed in action on 10 May 1915; Lieutenant (Lt) Clive Neilson Reynolds Huntley, No. 1 Division Engineers, who died of wounds on 14 May 1915; and Lt William Henry Dawkins, a graduate of the first intake of cadets at the Royal Military College, Duntroon, who was the first officer of 2nd Field Company, Royal Australian Engineers to be killed on Gallipoli on 12 May 1915.
