Sydney, NSW. C. 1943. Lady (Emilie) Coote (right) sitting at a desk with Superintendent Peggy Mitchell of Hawthorn, Vic, at the American Red Cross Officers' Club, Elizabeth Bay. Lady Coote, American born widow of an Irish baronet, and the only titled woman to serve in the Southwest Pacific Area, was Director of the Club.
