Manuscript describing enlistment in AIF, assignment as a reinforcement to 2/9 Field Ambulance, duties at Mersing and Singapore. After capitulation, internment at Changi, then moved with `K' Force to various camps along Burma/Thai Railway, including Konquita and Wampo. Mentions providing medical service to civilian labourers, suffering Malaria and beri-beri, and return to Australia.
