Cairo, Egypt. 25 April 1944. On Anzac Day, a ceremony attended by Australians and New Zealanders was held at the British Cemetery, when wreaths were placed on the Shrine of Remembrance. Australians in the Middle East attached to the RAAF Liaison Office paid a special visit.
