Description

British Pattern 1875 Cutlass. The hilt is the British 1842 Pattern sheet steel type with a cast iron grip and has a copper diamond shape plate with '26' riveted to the front edge of the guard. The flat straight blade has a double edge spear point. The ricasso is stamped WD with an Enfield inspectors stamp on the right and 4/76 on the left.
