Kut-el-Amara, Mesopotamia. 1916-12-12. Tents of the wireless stations of the 1st Wireless Signal Squadron with the British Riverhead and Advanced Base at Arab Village near Kut. The wireless stations were attached to the British Cavalry Division (6th and 7th Cavalry Brigades), Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force, prior to the advance to the Hai.
