Felayieh, Mesopotamia. c. 1917-01. A member of `E' Station, 1st Wireless Signal Squadron, Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force, operating a wireless in the back of a covered horse drawn wagon. The main task of this stationary station during the operations around Kut with the British Cavalry Division (6th and 7th Cavalry Brigades) was to process communications for 1 Corps Headquarters at Felayieh.
