Felayieh, Mesopotamia. c. 1917-01. A covered wagon of `E' Station, 1st Wireless Signal Squadron, Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force, under its wireless mast. The main task of this stationary station during the operations around Kut with the British Cavalry Division (6th and 7th Cavalry Brigades) was to process communications for 1 Corps Headquarters at Felayieh. Note the tent lines, probably of the Cavalry, in the background.
