The banknote is numbered No. 894456 and has a sketch of camels and horse drawn artillery beside a stretch of water lined with palm trees. Kut was re-taken by members of the Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force, including the 1st Wireless Signal Squadron, during operations in late 1916.
