Description
Kermanshah, Persia. 1917-07. Group portrait of members of `AA' Station, 1st Wireless Signal Squadron, and Headquarters staff of Baratov's Russian army (1st Caucasian Division). The squadron was part of the Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force supporting the Russians in communications with British Headquarters. In the front row are Lieutenant Joseph White and Lieutenant (later Major) Samuel James White.
