Bombay, India. c. 1917. Interior of a ward of the Freeman Thomas War Hospital, one of many buildings in the city used for medical purposes. Amongst those using the facilities were members of No. 1 Wireless Signals Squadron, Mesopotamia Expeditionary Force, evacuated from Mesopotamia due to illness. Note the mobile fan in the foreground.
