Surkhadisa, Persia. 1918-01-28. Members of No. 6 Station, 1st Wireless Signals Squadron, camped in deep snow while on the highway. They were in the Surkhadiza Valley providing communication support to a British platoon of the Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force keeping the pass open through the mountains.
