Tekrit, Mesopotamia. 1918-10-18. The mast of No. 7 Station, 1st Wireless Signal Squadron, stands in a cloud of dust created by the horses of the 7th Cavalry Brigade, Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force. The Brigade, accompanied by the Australian Squadron, was taking part in the Kalat Shergat (Shargat) offensive which was the last encounter they had with the Turks before the Armistice. (Donor E.
