Gaunus, Kalat Shergat, Mesopotamia. 1918-10-26. Mast and equipment of No. 10 Station, 1st Wireless Signal Squadron, Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force, with their horse lines in the background. The station was erected on the left bank of the Tigris River while General Cassell's British brigade of the Force had crossed a ford and was established across the Turkish line of communication during the last encounter with the Turks before the Armistice.
