Algeria. c. 1943. A Rugby football match between members of No. 458 (Wellington) Squadron RAAF, operating from a base in Algeria, and a selected team from RAF units is in progress. The RAAF team under the guidance of coach Flying Officer L. Simpson, who before the war was a prominent Rugby Union player at Toowoomba, Qld, won the game by several points. Note the buildings in the background.
